Juliette is originally from Milwaukee but spent high school and college in Florida. While completing her bachelor’s at UCF, Juliette was an active member of the sustainability club, worked at both a science museum and a tutoring company, and graduated a year ahead of her class. In her free time in college, she volunteered at the UCF Arboretum, the City of Winter Park Sustainability Department, and an urban agriculture nonprofit called Fleet Farming. Although she lived in Florida for the past 8 years, she continued to spend her summers in Wisconsin working at YMCA Camp Minikani. At Minikani, Juliette held both counseling and administrative roles leading hiking, backpacking, canoeing, and kayaking trips in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Juliette recently moved back to Milwaukee and enjoys cooking, biking, backpacking, and foraging for mushrooms and edible plants.
