University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Bachelor of Arts in Broad Field Social Studies, Secondary Education

Jesse attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies Education. He received certification to teach U.S. and global history, sociology, psychology, economics, geography, and political science for grades 6-12. He has a wide variety of experiences in school districts as he taught in numerous locations throughout his undergraduate degree (Several school districts in Wisconsin; Phoenix, Arizona; and Luoyang, China). After graduating, Jesse moved down to Madison, Wisconsin, and began teaching both 7th and 8th grade at Beaver Dam Middle School. He is dedicated to supporting students to reach success in multiple ways. In addition to teaching, Jesse has tutored at both Beaver Dam Middle School, and programs at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and has worked at the YMCA and BGC coordinating activities to develop good character and citizenship. In his spare time, Jesse enjoys watching movies, playing board and card games, and playing with his two cats.
